Miss Me... but Let Me Go.....

When I come to the end of the road,
and the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little—but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that was once shared.
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take,
and each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the master’s plan,
a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
go to the friends we know.
Bear your sorrow in good deeds.
Miss me, but let me go.....

A Mother's Prayer

When a child is apart,
even for a little while,
a mother says a prayer.
She asks the Lord to protect…
to be where she cannot be,
to go where she cannot go.
In Him she places her trust,
for He sees and He knows.
Though how your heart must break,
parted for now from your little one,
know that the Lord keeps your child safe,
with Him, where we all belong.
He will keep your child in a loving embrace,
just as He keeps you, a daughter, too.
That is His answer to a mother’s prayer,
that is His love --
is forever and everywhere...

I Love you....

I love you...
Enough to fight for you,
  compromise for you,
  sacrifice myself for you.
Enough to miss you
  when we're apart,
no matter the length of time,
  no matter the distance.
Enough to believe in our relationship,
  to stand by it,
  through the worst of times,
  through the best of times,
to never give up on it's strength.
Enough to spend the rest of my life with you,
be there when you need me,
be there when you want me,
  and never want to leave....
This much...
I love you...

.... May You Rest in Paradise ...

You can shed tears that she is gone,
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see she has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she’s gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,
or you can do what she’d want, smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
